I am a collaborative critical thinker who thrives in open work environments where problems are addressed & solutions are collectively facilitated. After spending the first few years of my career financing SME’s at an early-stage venture fund, I now work to make international trade & global commerce more accessible by digitizing, automating, and adding visibility to the freight routes that move commercial goods from overseas suppliers to domestic customers.My professional journey began at Invest Detroit Ventures where I helped lead dealmaking activities to grow our portfolio to 100 companies, and also managed Accelerate Michigan, the largest gathering of high-growth, high-tech companies and venture investors in the Midwest awarding up to $1M in prizes. While in Detroit, I was the co-coordinator of theHAPPENING - a brunch collective that brought together the city's young movers & shakers while harnessing $20,000 in spending power to support local venues & restaurants.Georgetown University - SFS 2014.
