I'm a analog IC designer and manager in the Timing Division at Silicon Labs. Lately, I've worked on a low-noise, high performance, leakage-tolerant oscillator and higher supply tolerant GPIO circuits. In the past, I've designed low-power circuits for RFID such as antenna tuning circuits, references, oscillators, CMOS single-poly based non-volatile memories and support circuits, high speed serial interfaces, a USB PLL with a current starved ring oscillator, and basic power management circuits in various CMOS processes from 180nm, 152nm, 130nm, to 55nm GP CMOS. My design experience is end-to-end from specifications to analysis and modeling to schematic creation, simulation, layout and parasitic extraction, to lab validation and characterization. I am familiar with circuit and signal processing analysis techniques and have lately been focused on phase noise and spur management. The products I have designed range from stand alone ICs and deliverable IP cores. I've worked in established teams as well as in a startup and as an individual contributor, project lead, and design manager.
