Arranged the first 7 year term loan deal in the REIT market resulting in PNC's outsized growth in the REIT banking league tables. Significant REIT, project construction and permanent lending experience with private and public property owners. - 3 years in PNC's Secured Lending Division where I contributed the first deal ($170 million) to the bank's first off balance sheet conduit for asset based finance. Handled specialized industry credit for arena owners/developers, power plant operators, port operators, commercial equipment leasing firms and consumer finance companies. Transactions originated included the purchase of AAA rated/MBIA insured privately placed consumer loan and commercial lease securitization tranches sold by subprime lenders when the securitization market was still private from 1993-1995. - 2 years of large corporate, insurance company, middle market & auto dealer credit underwriting and one year of Credit Department Management.
