Shashi Gupta

I am a civil/environmental engineer and have brilliant academic record. I am equipped to use a range of innovative teaching methodologies to support student’s life-long learning. In my professional career in tertiary institutions in multiple countries, I played lead roles in establishing industry academia partnerships to benefit students’ teaching and learning. I successfully developed and taught civil and environmental engineering programs and have trained and lead multi-disciplinary teams to conduct applied research, sponsored consultancy, and short-term training programs, and have achieved excellence. I hold brilliant testimony of attracting Government and Industry research/consultancy funding and have supervised research at post graduate level. I possess a consistently good record of publications in refereed journals and conferences and I have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills and can relate to large section of students, staff, and community, culturally. I have also activily participated in community work and hold the title of the 'Justice of Peace' for New Zealand.
