Founded API Solutions, LLC in 2015 which is a specialty Mechanical Contractor working throughout the Upper Midwest. Work activities include Process Industry Consulting, Piping Fabrication and Installation, Turn Key Projects / Outage Management, Valve installations, and Tubing System installations. Industries served include Power, Gas Pipeline, Fertilizer/Nitrogen Facilities, Food/Beverage/Pharmaceutical. Previously worked at Emerson for 22 years with the Fisher Valve Division. First 10 years with Emerson focused on control valve diagnostics, performance testing, and control performance research. Worked on a global team to develop control performance testing and demonstration capabilities and provided related support and training to the global sales force. Worked on a team that managed the design and construction of the Emerson Innovation Center in Marshalltown, Iowa - specifically the Test Lab/Flow Lab which is the industry leading test facility for control valves. Also specified, designed, and coordinated the process piping construction which was built to ASME B31.1. Lead a team focused on next generation diagnostics, prognostics, and controls for the Fisher Business Unit for the last 8 years of my career at Emerson.
