Shehab Jabir FRCS(Plast)

Shehab Jabir BSC(Hons), MBBS, MRCS, FRCS (Plast), FEBOPRAS, FEBHS is consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon at Lister Hospital NHS Trust, Stevenage with a special interest in hand and wrist surgery and facial aesthetics. He has completed fellowships in aesthetic surgery (BAAPS Fellow at Purity Bridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells) and hand and wrist surgery at Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby. He is also the founder of Hawchester London, a luxury British watch brand designed and developed exclusively by himself concurrently while working full time as a plastic surgeon. The watches are available via www.hawchester.com He has subspecialty and research interests in hand and wrist surgery as well as upper limb related plastic and reconstructive surgery, microsurgery and aesthetics. He has published over 30 articles in peer reviewed journals and presented abstracts at over 40 conferences. He has also published several book chapters and created a website for preparation for ST3 interviews in plastic surgery (www.plasticsurgeryst3.co.uk). He was previously chief registrar for the Department of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust and has a keen interest in leadership in healthcare and in the operating theatre. Current memberships include BAPRAS, BAAPS, BSSH (Associate), The Alliance of British Watch and Clockmakers and The National Association of Jewellers.
