Currently working as senior advisor on Diversity and Inclusion at the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. I am a writer, Fellow at Excellent Leadership Programs of Comenius-Leergangen and Art Director at Mystic Festival Rotterdam. I was Editor in Chief at Tehran-Review and Editor in Chief/Curator of WINTERNACHTEN Writers Unlimited literature festival The Hague. I have extensive experience in strategic analysis and and target-oriented action in dynamic environments, in which I have translated ideas into clear proposals and workable means and actions. I have hands-on experience with activist campaigns and academic, journalistic and cultural projects, including their external funding, based on well conceptualized and formulated proposals. My main interests are (1) transformative leadership and strategical development for cultural change within organizations (2)The Geopolitics of the Greater Middle East Region (MENA) (3) Multicultural Dynamics of Europe, and (4) Tracing sources of inspiration in mystical traditions for our contemporary world. I have frequently worked for Dutch and international NGO's and think-tanks like Hivos, Cordaid and ASPEN INSTITUTE as an external advisory for their their civil society policy towards Iran, Afghanistan and the MENA region. I have been working with Dutch governmental organisations such as VNG (Association of Netherlands Municipalities), developing new strategies and action oriented ideas on how to make multicultural society function better. It is important to mention here that I speak Farsi fluently and am comfortable reading and writing Dari, which was an invaluable asset in operating locally. On a more personal level, I might add that I am a highly skilled and polished networker with considerable relation-management abilities and, as such, an experienced and smooth communicator.
