Ms. Pearson is a registered professional mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in project management, regulatory compliance, and air quality engineering consulting arenas. Her current responsibilities include project management in the areas of regulatory compliance and air quality permitting. As a Certified Permitting Professional (CPP) in the SCAQMD, numerous permit applications have been prepared for new emission sources as well as modification to existing sources. The application preparation process includes developing emission inventories, evaluating applicable federal, state, and local regulation compliance, developing a compliance plan, and preparing the appropriate application forms. Prepared permit applications for refineries, cogeneration, the manufacturing of aerospace components, medical devices, inks, paper products, food products, automotive products, microelectronics, and the new installation of soil vapor extraction systems, internal combustion engines, power plants, boilers, heaters, storage tanks, and air pollution control systems.In addition to permitting, Ms. Pearson has provided regulatory compliance support to industrial clients to prepare annual emissions summaries, variance applications and compliance plans. She has Performed environmental compliance audits for facilities including Alcoa, CP Kelco, Eastman Chemical, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell, Mattel, Inc., Medtronic, NBC Universal, Paramount Pictures, Ralston Purina, and US Borax.
