Dr. Shujia Zhang

As Chief Data Scientist and Co-founder of REEJIG, I am a machine learning specialist obsessed with data and solving problems. I am passionate about unlocking the power of integrated people data to find and move talent with intelligence. I have a PhD in machine learning and specialise in graph modelling with deep artificial neural networks. I have extensive understanding across statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and strong programming skills in numerous data science languages. With eight years of academic experience in deep learning and graph modelling projects, I have gained in-depth practical knowledge in the artificial intelligence domain. Prior to REEJIG, I worked as Lead Data Scientist at SaaS startup SafetyCulture, leading innovative large-scale data projects such as data analytics and insights, recommendation systems and OCR-based products. At REEJIG, I am focused on designing and developing data science and deep learning talent solutions and have been at the forefront of developing REEJIG’s audited ethical talent AI. For AI to prosper and deliver on its promises, it must not only be trusted but also be fit for purpose. My mission is to help organisations harness the power of ethical and humane technology to find and move talent, accelerate their progress in gender balance and shape the workforces of the future.
