Siddhartha Chattopadhyay

Siddhartha is a communication specialist. He has worked in both IT and adventure media. In IT, he mostly worked with product support and delivered neat application prototypes whereas in adventure media he co-created an outdoor media product called BoxTalks. In addition to this, he continues to write on broader issues concerning adventure sports and culture in general. He finds his inspiration in the outdoors and is currently developing a culture of outdoor appreciation in a remote town in North India. On the contrary, aside from writing and teaching climbing at India's premium Bouldering center, he's also been on treks of various altitudes, ranging from 12 to 18 thousand feet and hopes to keep upping the ante. In October 2016, he completed a nearly month-long trek in the Great Himalayas of central Nepal, walking more than 310 kilometers while crossing the Annapurna and Manasalu high passes. Shortly after his return, he held two successful exhibitions wherein he talked about the creative process of celebrating art through discomfort. Some of his work has been recognized and published across The Outdoor Journal, Nat Geo Traveller India, National Geographic and Condé Nast. Siddhartha enjoys combining travel and photography to create inspiring journals on life, people, and culture.
