Over 4 years of biotech and pharmaceutical industry experience. I am a highly adaptable, ambitious individual who can work in both an independent and team environment. Throughout my undergraduate degree and in a professional work environment, I have shown to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team whilst displaying leadership skills as well as continuing to improve my organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. I am hard working and willing to work beyond scheduled hours to complete tasks and troubleshoot procedures. I apply myself 100% to every situation and I am eager to continuously progress in my professional career. Currently working as Senior Manufacturing Technologist in Stemcell Technologies - involved in training new hires in production of media and cell separation products in both regulated and non regulated operations. Previously, held the role of Associate Scientist in PPD GMP Laboratories Cell Lab, Ireland after promotion from Assistant Scientist. Focused on various complex bioassays, routine cell culture, QC auditor, OOS and OOT investigations. Studying in UCD allowed me to gain research and lab experience through practical courses and a final year research project. Following graduation I worked as a Diagnostic Technologist focused on Product Development and Characterisation in Clinical Chemistry studies in Abbott Diagnostics, Longford, Ireland.
