Stacey Badolato

I started my biology career helping to research an endangered species of turtles on the Susquehanna river in Maryland. I gained valuable research experience collecting various data for a masters thesis. I also started my own research project looking at how the water fluctuation between the Conowingo Dam and the Chesapeake Bay affected the turtles basking habitat. That research study is currently still being carried out today. My career in biology continued in a different direction where I am now working at a Pharmaceutical company overseeing the environmental monitoring program in Sterility Assurance. We perform sampling and auditing of aseptic technique on the production floor. My job involves overseeing and training production personnel on techniques and equipment used in the environmental monitoring program.
