As a continuous improvement manager, I help lead and coordinate activities of diverse scope and complexity to improve the efficiency of systems and processes for manufacturing, suppliers or customers. Responsible for data gathering and execution of lean events such as kaizen. Implements Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, visual management, value stream mapping, error proofing, and lean metrics. Using Six Sigma and Red-X problem solving methodology assists operations teams in any strategic initiative to help with compliance standard, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions to continuously improve the plant. Helps create a proactive culture of change by promoting, teaching, and listening to by engaging all levels of employees in the business. Use reporting systems to prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and improvement projects and savings goals.
