More recently, I managed a research group on an fp7 EU projet CyberEmotionsrelative to emotional models applied to virtual reality during 3 years at EPFL (Switzerland). I'm currently leading the Image Processing & Computer Graphics group ("Groupe Imagerie") at the School of Engineering of HE-Arc, University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland where my research topics focus on Serious Games and VR. Among specific R&D projects and consortium I'm involved in: (1) 'SG4R', involves four labs of hes-so (applied sciences university), i.e. HEIG-Vd, hepia, hesav, and he-arc; (2) 'Smart2Fry' is a CTI (Swiss industrial R&D projet) relative to ecology and energy savings; (3) 'SG4H@W', Serious Game for Health at Work, anacademic to industry consortium organized by InnovArcprospecting the use of serious games to help reducing costs due to health at work. I'm also involved in the following activities: - International journal review [JR] or editorial committee [EC] member of International Journal of Computer Graphics [EC], Computers & Graphics [JR] and theJournal of Parallel and Distributed Computing [JE]. - Program committee or board review member of the following international conferences ISVC 2012, CiCP 2013, EvoApps 2014, WSCG'18, and GRAPP'18 - 1st Author of "WebGL par la pratique", PPUR; - conference organization: Gamification & Serious Games Symposium (GSGS 2016), 4-5 July, Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Specialties: Digital imaging, computer graphics, virtual reality, software engineering, and geometric modeling Applied to virtual crowds, real-time 3D reconstruction, weathering simulations, and cellular automata Currently managing an internal team for current the following projects: CYBEREMOTIONS and AERIALCROWDS Program committee member of CGI 2011 and GRAPP 2011
