About
I have a passion for the outdoors and community service. I spend my childhood in nature with my father and I have carried that passion throughout my life. I spent my free time in high school volunteering at Bahama Fire Department in Durham North Carolina from the age of 16 to 22 as a Firefighter/EMT. When I turned 22 I commissioned in the U.S. Army as an infantry 2nd Lieutenant. I served the first portion of my career in the 82nd Airborne where I gained a love for jumping out of "perfectly good airplanes." I carried that passion to the US Army Airborne School where I joined the United States Maneuver Center of Excellence (Fort Benning) Exhibition Parachute Team "The Silver Wings". My passion became introducing the sport of skydiving to others through parachute demonstrations at sporting events and public gatherings, and the thrill of tandem skydiving. While working at Airborne School I earned my Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Columbus State University. Following my Airborne School Assignment I served 18 months as a Company Commander in the 2d Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany. I am currently serving as an Observer, Coach and Trainer in Hohenfels, Germany. My passion for adventure is endless with hobbies including but not limited to; skydiving, kayaking, biking, mountaineering, rock climbing, and fly fishing. I hope to see you all soon in the sky or on the trail. Safe adventures and blue skies!
