About
I am the Network Engineer for Standard Motor Products, Inc. assigned to their Greenville, SC manufacturing facility. I am solely responsible for all aspects of plant-wide computer support from server administration to desktop support to supporting the underlying hardware and software infrastructure. Addiontally, I am solely responsible for maintaining a Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory environment which is integrated with an Exchange 2010 Server, SQL 2008 Server, Hyper-V Server, WSUS, and several Windows 2008 R2 file and print servers. I support the infrastructure necessary to support 150 users on 100 desktops and laptops and 75 Citrix Thin clients all who are using about 30 printers and plotters. Additionally, I have brought to bear the experience of 25 years of miscellaneous programming projects to design, write and implement over a dozen different applications responsible for data acquisition and increased manufacturing productivity.
