I am passionate about good corporate governance and believe strongly that a well run company which complies with statutory regulation will outperform those who have not got effective processes or structures in place. My background in corporate governance stems from 11 years as the Commercial Director of the Financial Times Board Director Programme. Ensuring that both executives and non-execs possessed the skills and knowledge to effectively perform their duties as board members through training and education helped to create stronger and more diverse boards in the UK, Hong Kong and the rest of the world.
