Doctor Yalkowsky completed Honor’s classes at Westchester Hebrew High School in Mamaroneck, New York. He then attended Queens College earning both a Bachelor Of Arts and a Master’s Degree in General Psychology before attending the Doctoral program in Developmental Psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School. While earning his Doctorate, Dr. Yalkowsky began working with the developmentally disabled through the United Cerebral Palsy organization in a day treatment center in Queens, New York. It was not long before he began working out of the agency’s clinic as well as the article 16 clinic at the Association for the Help of Retarded Citizens sites in the Bronx and Manhattan. After supervisory positions at Center for Family Support and Cardinal McCloskey Services, Dr. Yalkowsky took a position with the State of New Jersey as a staff clinical psychologist at North Jersey Developmental Center. Following licensure in New Jersey, Dr. Yalkowsky began performing evaluations to examine disability claims for the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development; and began training in the areas of custody and best interest assessments at Bergen Family Center. At Current, he is accepting attorney referrals for custody and visitation-related evaluations as well as extreme hardship assessments in immigration matters; and offering his services as an expert witness.
