Steve is the former Vice Chair, Director and Trustee of the Institute of Community Safety. He is a director and founder of CSPt Ltd (A division of Resolve ASB) specialising in Community Safety BTEC qualifications and advisory services, in 2016 he retired as Chief Executive of Action Adventure Ltd, a company providing international services. He has been a member of he N8 Policing Research Partnership Advisory Board for 7 years.Steve has been involved with the Institute of Community Safety (ICS) [formerly the NCSN] for about 8 years, he was previously the founder of CSPt and prior to that the Director of Education for an education provider now part of the Red Snapper Group based in the University of Canterbury. Before that he was the Senior ICT Account Manger for Her Majesties Prison Service. He has been a leading consultant for a consortium of suppliers providing the private and public sectors state of the art public interface multi-media Portals and Antisocial Behaviour casework implementation projects. In May 2009 he undertook business analysis needs project in Romania as part of the PHARE project as an independent ‘Expert’ assessing the Intelligence and Analysis’ section analysing business benefits realisation and associated training needs. In 2008, in the Cayman Islands, as senior independent consultant for the Cayman Islands National Roads Authority. Steve was part of the National Police Improvement Agency as the national training lead on e-Policing and the National Police Portal.
