I began my service to Fayette County while a high school student in the Winter of 1985. I took my First Responder class from Allen McCullough in the Spring of 1987 and was hired in October of that year. I have progressed through the ranks of Firefighter - EMT, Firefighter-Paramedic, Lieutenant, Captain, and now to Commander - Fire/EMS Administration. I have had the privelege to be mentored by industry-leading visionaries in the field of Fire/EMS service provision. My Chief and Director of Public Safety (M. Allen McCullough, PhD) and my Direct supervisor (Deputy Chief Thomas Bartlett) have provided me with a wealth of education and experiences relative to the administrative function of a modern, trendsetting Public Agency.
