Sue Sgambati

During Sue's more than 30 years as a journalist, she has had the privilege of having access to many people and places. She is a self-starter but enjoys working with a team. Writing is a strength and a pleasure. Work is best when it makes a difference. Sue has worked in all forms of media: radio, television, print and online. She has been honoured with numerous awards, including two Radio and Television News Director Awards. The first was for her coverage at Global Television for the Paul Bernardo trial; the second was for a CTV W5 documentary that led to the identification of a young murder victim whose bones had been at the Toronto morgue for almost 40 years. Sue has covered countless high profile events - from the G20 in Toronto to the crimes of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka to the Robert Pickton trial in BC. While the majority of her career focussed on crime and court stories, Sue was also able to cover all aspects of news and enjoys feature articles and photography.
