Suhail Syed

Suhail is a Sr Product Manager in Cisco’s Cloud Platform and Solutions Group where he currently heads the multicloud portfolio. As part of the portfolio, he is bringing to market Cisco’s Container Platform built on Kubernetes as well as driving innovative multicloud solutions for the industry via strategic partnerships with other market leaders. Suhail has an MS in EE from the University of Southern California and over 20 years of experience in a number of roles in various industry segments spanning Hardware (Server, Network Processing, Netbooks, Ultra-thins, Digital Home) and Consumer/Open Source Software (Android, Chrome, HTML5, MeeGo, Tizen). Prior to taking over running the multicloud portfolio Suhail was responsible for bringing to market Cisco’s Virtual Infrastructure Manager as well as driving Cisco’s contributions in OpenStack (networking enhancements, container projects, dashboards).Suhail is an experienced presenter and has been invited to present business and technical topics at Universities, Industry conferences (SAP TechEd, SAP Sapphire, Cisco Live, OpenStack Summits, TechWiseTV, The Cube…), executive briefings at Cisco and Intel and as a technology speaker on the radio (1550 AM)
