The more financial power you accumulate the more isolated you are at risk of becoming—and riskier still— the shyer the advisors who enjoy your business are likely to be or ever challenge you when you're wrong or misguided. Worsening matters, the 'wealth industry' runs sadly low on any real insights on how to meaningfully contribute to your life. So it relies on its dull, boilerplate advice, focusing you on distant dates and technical issues, preserving the ineffectual status quo that often supplies little compelling benefit to you.You answer shallow questions, producing flat 'financial plans' that sound OK or get caught up in the mechanics of tax saving or complex estates.
