I am passionate about helping businesses create the best product for their customers. There is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment that comes from helping an idea reach its full potential and meet (or better - exceed) a customer's expectations. My experience in the tech sector has allowed me to create products for mainstream consumers as well as the IT and security market. I have been part of the evolution from traditional Human Factors work to the broader customer experience, and it's been fun.Equally enjoyable is fostering innovation. I'm a cross-pollinator who likes to see seemingly disparate ideas or concepts joined together in a unique way that hasn't been thought of before. Of course that's just creativity. Innovation comes when something is actively worked on which is why I like using The Business Model Canvas concept to flush out ideas in order to identify viable business opportunities. Recently I had an epiphany that UX Designers are in a great position to change the world for the better. If each of us applied our expertise not just at our jobs, but to our interests, hobbies, and places of worship, just imagine our collective impact. Some highlights of my experience include:• Customer Experience Design Architect with extensive Project Management experience of multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional product development teams in order to define and drive customer needs into product hardware, software, and web design.• Solid background in developing usability test plans to ensure the best customer experience possible given program constraints. Accomplished by facilitating the use of various user evaluation techniques including, contextual design, usability testing and other user-centered design practices.• Reputation for identifying business needs, defining new processes, and engaging appropriate resources to support change.
