Svetlana Cooper

I am a first-generation Ukrainian-American citizen who is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in both Chemistry and Russian Culture. I worked at AVI Biopharma for two years as a research assistant. Prior to pharmacy school, I worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in both retail and compounding pharmacies for approximately two years. In pharmacy school, I was selected to join a group of students and faculty on a research project which resulted in two poster presentations (local and national) and a publication in the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association (JAPhA). After my first year of pharmacy school, I obtained an internship with BI-MART, where I worked for over two years. After completing my clinical rotations and graduating from pharmacy school, I am very excited to be apart of the Rite Aid family as a staff pharmacist.
