Sylvain is a client focused individual, highly-motivated and target orientated with a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service to a broad range of clients and on projects. He has been over a decade in Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Employers Agent consultancy, delivering many projects in both the public and private sectors. He has a proactive approach to delivery, understands the importance of client relationships, has a meticulous attention to detail and always works to provide an excellent service and end delivery. He can quickly and efficiently learn, formulate and implement new systems and procedures, an excellent personable communicator on all levels who always strives to achieve the highest standards in whatever role, duty and task is at hand. To date within his career he has gained a wealth of experience within the construction industry, this has been obtained through undertaking various Commercial related roles on a range of different procurement forms/ contracts. Specialising in the residential and later living sectors and construction related sustainability, he is also a real industry all-rounder also having gained experience working within many other sectors in his career including retail, commercial, leisure, health, aviation, manufacturing and infrastructure. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of chartered Surveyors (MRICS), therefore always adhering to the highest level of ethical and professional standards. Currently working as a Commercial Director based in the Midlands, UK , Sylvain is an experienced consultant who has successfully delivered many challenging projects and developed solutions to meet specific client and project requirements. Has a keen interest and well-rounded knowledge of sustainability within the built environment which is an area he has upskilled and worked extensively in over recent years. Sylvain has extensive experience in undertaking the roles of Commercial Director, Head of Commercial, Commercial Lead, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial / Cost Manager, Employers Agent and Contracts Administrator on a wide range of public and private sector new build and refurbishment projects. Over the last few years as Commercial Director, Head of Commercial, Executive Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent he has also had responsibility for the management of teams of Construction Professionals, Project Surveyors, Graduates and Junior Team members who have all assisted in the day to day business functions, management of projects and other cost and commercial related duties and tasks.
