I have been working in my current job as a logistics and purchasing manager for more than 7 years. A major part of my responsibilities is ordering materials and auxiliary materials (built-in parts), liaising and negotiating with suppliers, managing quotations and invoices, and handling complaints. Thanks to my background in finance and economics, during my years with the company I have been involved in the preparation of the company's financial decisions, annual reports and cost calculations. I was in daily contact with the external accounting firm, providing data and analysis to support their work. Given that my employer is an international company and 90% of the suppliers are located in German and Austrian speaking countries, I use German and English on a daily basis. I was involved in the implementation of an ERP (ABAS) system, which I am still actively using. Previously I gained several years of experience in the banking industry. As a consultant for large corporations and SME's, and later as a county manager, I analysed corporate loan applications and made decisions on loan extensions. I gained considerable experience in customer relations, negotiation and contract writing. Looking for new opportinities in the field of finance, logistics or banking. Strengths - Active, negotiation-level German: I use it on a daily basis due to my responsibilities and my employer's international contacts. - Last year, our company had a successful financial year. My financial knowledge has been used to support the management in making strategic decisions. - In the challenging economic "crisis" situation since the end of 2019, we managed to secure the supply of raw materials for the company so that we were able to remain profitable despite continuously rising prices and there were no shutdowns due to shortages of raw materials.
