T.R. Fluker, PE

T.R. Fluker’s lifelong interest in the outdoors and construction led him to work in the field of geotechnical and materials engineering. Now, drawing on expertise developed over more than 20 years of managing and providing geotechnical engineering and construction quality assurance and materials testing services, T.R. Assists clients and colleagues with developing solutions in these areas. T.R. Is the Department Manager of the construction phase services department for Schnabel’s Richmond office. He has extensive experience in performing and managing materials investigations for existing structures as well as construction materials quality assurance and testing and special inspections for new construction projects. His project experience spreads across many construction types including transportation (air, land, and sea), industrial and power, water/wastewater, education, government, commercial, and healthcare, and deals with a wide range of geotechnical- and construction materials- related issues during construction. He also extends these interests into the community as he serves as President on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.
