T.K. Malhotra

T. K. Malhotra is the President of the Automobile Association of Upper India (AAUI) since 1981. He has served six terms as President of Federation of Indian Automobile Associations (FIAA) since 1984. In recognition of his contribution in the field of road safety and promotion of tourism, he was nominated as the Honorary Vice-President of the world body Alliance International de Tourisme (AIT), Geneva for the year 1993-94, an honor conferred first time on any Indian in 93 years of the history of the AIT.Mr. Malhotra has served on various Committees both at the state and national levels. Among others, he is a member on the following specialized Committees:- Solatium Fund Committee for hit and run cases- The Central Traffic Advisory Committee of Delhi Police- The National Road Safety Council constituted by the Union Ministry of Shipping Road, Transport and Highways- Advisory Group, National Highways Authority of India- Tourism Committee of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry- National Committee on Tourism and Heritage set up by Confederation of Indian Industry- PCRA Transport Advisory Committee- Guest Columnist - Hindustan Times
