Plant/Marine Fleet Mechanical Maintenance Manager • Maintenance of all types of Marine/Plant Gear Boxes, Clutch Boxes and other mechanical equipments • Structural fabrication, Propulsion & other repair of marine vessels • Planning, Budgeting, Organizing & Executing of Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown maintenances. • Inventory Management • Implementing strategies for building effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members. • Developing multi skilled work force for cross utilization within sub processes for optimum efficiency. Dredging & Reclamation Project Management • Controlling & managing deployment of equipment, Dredge operation, reclamation works & Survey team. • Conceptualizing projects right from start, advising the contractors and other technical staff. • Sharing information such as project details to the peers and resolving any concerns with the implementation of the project. • Undertaking measures to complete the project in a timely manner, safely, and with cost saving measures. • Liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff and the public. • Steering dredging and reclamation activities, managing risks to realize opportunities, project cost, handling substantial budget & schedule reductions. • Managing project design & optimization, predicting & monitoring environmental effects, tendering & tender assignments, contract negotiation, resolution of disputes, site supervision and auditing. • Supervising selection of equipment, managing right equipment, quality of materials, etc. • Conducting site inspection, condition assessment, checking downtime assessment, checking their productivity levels, etc. • Supervising environmental monitoring, environmental threshold implementation, handling quality assurance. • Checking ground conditions, site management, sequencing of construction, cost prediction & scheduling. • Manning tender assessments, forms of contract, optimum methods of measurement & payment, contract conditions, etc. • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety. • Motivating the workforce and solving problem which might occur in the process.
