I am a Mechanical Engineer with twenty-nine years of experience in the concept, design and fabrication of custom assembly and inspection machinery. Throughout my career I have had extensive interaction with sophisticated customers who demand high speed, high reliability and ultra-safe operations with minimal operator attention. I have a broad knowledge base of cam, stepper, servo, direct drive linear and rotary motors, 6 axis robots, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated mechanisms controlled with PC and PLC controls. I have been trained in design for assembly / manufacturability, six-sigma, FEA, DFMEA and utilize the latest 3D cad modeling software. I possess a diverse working knowledge of machining and fabrication operations to create innovative, cost-effective designs to fulfill unique customer requirements. All the production documents for the designs I created employed GD&T and conformed to ANSI, ASME, AWS or ISO standard specifications.
