Taimur Adil

Taimur is a Founding Partner at the Impetus Advisory Group (IAG), a management consulting firm that specializes in supporting large-scale private and public transformation exercises. The Firm has active experience in seven thematic areas: affordable and climate-smart housing, education, health, real estate, public financial management, central planning, and agriculture Taimur specializes in advising both public and private enterprise on optimizing delivery models through intelligent market research and data analytics. For over a decade, Taimur served at strategic positions in the management cadre of national and multinational corporates (Qtel, China Mobile, The Engro Corporation, Adam Smith International), as well as in advisory positions for the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). Taimur has extensive experience of advising public sector clients on tax reform, education, skills development, agribusiness and criminal justice reform. A Honor's graduate from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Taimur received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and was awarded a graduate teaching fellowship by the PhD Economics Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), from where he completed his Terminal Masters in Economics in 2008. Taimur is also the current Learning and GSEA Chair for the Islamabad Chapter of the Entrepreneur's Organization (EO), a global network of over 16,000 corporate leaders and changemakers.
