Our roots can be traced back to 1995 when partner, Vern Barclay, started in the insurance business after a successful career of law firm management that culminated with a position as Chief Operating Officer of an AM LAW 100 firm. Today, SBG principals combine for 40+ years of insurance experience and have proudly built a firm that has grown into a national operation with multiple offices and clients in over 40 states.
