I am currently working with First Scholars Program at the University of Alabama. Being able to help other first generation students has been my pleasure. I have been with the organization nearly 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. The University of Alabama has been my home for the past 4 years. During that time, I have received a Bachelors and Masters of Art in Communication and Information Sciences. My Bachelors' degree is in Public Relations and my Masters' is in Communication Studies. My passion is education and my long term goal is to become a Professor. My research interests include Black women's friendships with each other and with other minority women, inside and outside the workplace.
