Tanisha Walton

Ms. Walton is an experienced engineer with over seven years in the construction industry supporting energy and utility projects. She has support services for clients including Exelon Corporation affiliates BG&E, PEPCO, and various other energy and power companies throughout the East Coast. She has detailed experience and an intricate knowledge of BG&E and Pepco’s policies and procedures in addition to the District/State regulatory agencies, permit requirements, policies, and standards. Ms. Walton has excellent communication skills and can communicate with owners, contractors, architects, designers, and tradesmen. Ms. Walton’s responsibilities have included: overseeing projects and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and specifications; reviewing and approving permit applications and coordinating with local jurisdictions for approval; and performing field visits. Ms. Walton is proficient using Milsoft, LightTable, ETAP, SAP, GIS/GWD, WMIS, EasyPower, AutoCAD, GeoField, Multisim, ProVisionTM, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ms Walton created a tracker to locate deliverables for each project within Pepco’s Design process. Deliverables (Permits, Traffic Control Plans, Final Construction Prints, Structural Facility Drawings, & Electric Room Layouts) were tracked by Engineers and Milestones. Ms. Walton created a seamless process which allowed each project to meet the customers deadline.
