I am currently working for Uniting residential aged care as a registered nurse (RN). Focusing on delivering person centred health care for older people living in an aged care facility. I am also working for Woolworths Limited in a customer service/retail role, which I been doing so for the last eight years. I believe I am driven and want to work in health care services that would challenge me professionally and help me achieve my nursing career goals. Having worked in customer service for a number of years, I have seen the challenges of trying to satisfy customers’ needs and wants. This also applies to working with older people living in residential aged care. As an RN not also focusing on health care but advocacy for consumer rights and decision making. Listening to a customer/consumer's concerns is of the utmost importance to demonstrate the care factor that you want to help them resolve their problems or issues.
