About

10+ years of experience developing products, programs, partnerships, campaigns, experiences, teams, and business outcomes in B2B and B2C contexts. Winner of Fast Company’s ‘2022 WORLD CHANGING IDEAS’ award for a revenue sharing marketplace my team launched at the height of the COVID pandemic for higher ed faculty and students. I recently launched and led the institutional business line in the digital student solutions division of a public edtech company; we partnered with higher ed institutions to offer students equitable access to 24/7 study support in synchronous, asynchronous, and AI-enabled formats. Before that, I launched the post-secondary educator product and community at a private (unicorn) ed-tech company and became one of the four strategic business owners steering the corporate roadmap. Prior to that, I led community programming and corporate partnerships at the world’s most active venture capital firm and startup accelerator. Before transitioning into tech, I focused on instruction in higher education. I collaborated with a group of global poverty scholars to launch a mixed-media learning initiative that scaled curriculum across the University of California system. This project attracted funding, a book deal, press, and millions of YouTube views. I also developed my own curriculum and taught 10+ media, online production, and research methods courses to undergraduate students at a world-class public university. Prior to that, I was a journalist. I helped launch the #1 most-trafficked, online-only higher ed student publication in the country and co-led the 50-person editorial staff responsible for the effort. I was also an early employee at a successful global media and technology company later acquired by Vox Media, where I helped launch one of the web properties associated with the brand. Across these efforts, I have collaborated with a wide range of professionals and led cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, community and partnership managers, content developers, brand strategists, data scientists, researchers, event organizers, journalists, film crews, academics, learners, and others.I love new challenges. More than that, I love working with smart, mission-driven people to get things done.Let’s talk! [email protected]
