I am a VC investor with 15+ years of experience in investing and exiting companies across Healthcare, Consumer and SaaS in India. Backing innovative companies and working alongside accomplished entrepreneurs is a massive perk of my work, and there’s never a dull moment.I started my professional voyage as a public market investor, programming financial models and working with the best minds in the business in Goldmans’ London offices. However, I was missing the rough and tumble of working with real businesses up close, and was gripped by an unshakeable faith that India is going to throw up massive growth (and investment) opportunities. So I took the plunge, and moved to India to work in VC.That was 15 years ago, and since then I have had the privilege of participating in numerous growth journeys with world-class entrepreneurs. These are companies that applied superior IP/tech to either create new markets (Nova IVF – Infertility treatments), capture large categories (FirstCry – India’s largest mom and child retailer) or disrupt businesses through SaaS offerings. I have also earned my share of battle scars along the way. It’s a thrill to experience the pace of innovation in India and its rapid adoption in serving consumer needs, transforming healthcare outcomes and delivering business insights.
