Simple human being, working to make this world slightly easier for others to live in. Born in Dhaka, raised in New York, I have experienced both side of the coin. I was a social outcast due to my middle class status in Bangladesh and my immigrant background in New York. Ultimately, turned into a tech nerd who couldn’t socialize - but knew the “ins and outs” of hardware and social media. I realized early on that majority of the content online was useless and so learned practically through trial an error and helping others build computers and grow their Instagram accounts. Eventually, I got paid jobs in there field but was unhappy as I no longer could share my knowledge with more people which felt like a limiting factor to my personal growth. Growing up seeing my family do small acts of charities was normal from giving people; blankets in the winter to feeding the homeless every month due to a belief we follow of “giving while living.” Soon after, I realized my passion was using technology and media to help those seeking help. Therefore, I combined technology and charity to form Purnota Foundation which has provided food, clothing, shelter, medication and other life necessities to thousands of families.
