I am a lifelong learner. Having curiosity as my main character strength, I've starter working when I was 12 just to understand how the broader world was.I've worked for a video store (oh yeah), a book publisher, as a phone operator and then, started my journey in sales. In sales, I've bloomed. It was not easy, but this job finally taught me how the real world was. I learned a lot about people, conflict, empathy, business, quotes, pressure, failure, and the pain of having to start over. Yeah...failing and starting over, and over, and over. But I also learned how to enjoy success - a lot.Because of sales, I've developed an interest for entrepreneurship, so I've started up a few companies that failed and finally got it right on a business on one of my passions: adult learning and coaching.On it, I've facilitated countless training sessions all over the world in North America, Asia, Latin America, Europe. I hired, trained, coached and led people in all different cultures. As a Professional Coach, I helped many clients (and received all the help back) in all the same regions. I volunteered as a conflict mediator and published a book. I moved overseas and again, started over. I founded a Non-profit; I got a new College Degree. I made so many friends!Currently, I have a full-time job in a place that I love very much. Also, I serve as the Honorary Consul of Brazil in Michigan, being an arm of our Consulate in Chicago. All of it with the support of my amazing husband, Julio and son, Caio. I am still a work in progress, and I believe this would be the only thing that will never change.
