I'm a cancer biologist focused on the discovery of novel targets, mechanisms and strategies to inhibit tumor progression with over 15 years expertise developing in vitro (2D, 3D and iPSC-derived organoid) and in vivo cancer models. I am a professional highly experienced in molecular and cellular functional assays in anti-tumor drug development. I was the first author on the paper that generated the Ixolaris patent (for treatment and prevention of cancer – WO2010107991A2). I have a proven ability to work independently and, in a team, to reach the research goals, take initiative, and efficiently manage complex tasks and multiple priorities simultaneously. My career goal is to translate my scientific knowledge and skill set into new therapies and treatments that will eventually help and improve the lives of cancer patients.
