Tensing Maa

Tensing Maa, MD, is the Medical Director of the Simulation Program at Nationwide Children’s. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in Pediatrics for The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she also attended medical school. Dr. Maa received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Chicago. She completed her residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson and her fellowship in pediatric critical care from the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. Her specific areas of interests include neurocritical care, simulation in healthcare, and medical education. Dr. Maa is a member of the following professional societies: American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Central Ohio Pediatric Society, Society for Simulation in Healthcare, International Pediatric Simulation Society, and International Network for Simulation-based, Pediatric Innovation, Research and Education.
