Terrance Keene

Hello I am Terrance Keene i work for a company called Center City District and Volunteer firemen with South Media Fire Company. Center City District is Non Profit Company that was started in 1991 with street cleaning and now works in both street cleaning and hospitality. The hospaility which is the Community Service Representives part of the company deals with the tourism of the downtown area,in which we patrol over 500 plus blocks in the downtown area keeping the businesses and tourism safe and sound. The company has been supported by the city of philadelphia for 22 years and has a great partnership with the Philadelphia Police Department. We work closely with the police department the company has done major changes throughout downtown. For me i have been their the past 12 years and have worked with the homeless action team for the district we work to give the outreach clients the chance to get help and services through the city of Philadelphia. The company has and will keep growing for the downtown area. The second part of what i do I am a Volunteer firefighter with South Media Fire Company have been with them for 9 years. Being a volunteer firefighter has been the second best thing in the world to me that i have done in life. I have been the Engineer with the fire company and the Captain on the Board of Directors also for two years. I am now also part of the County Task Fore team in which that will be Urban Search And Rescue teams. I have earned all of my firefigther certifications through Delaware Conuty Emergency Service Training Center. I have done all my fire training through them and earned other fire training cerfications.through other agencies.I am also the fire inspector for Nether Providence Township Fire Marshal office. In which through the fire marshals office i go out and do building inspection and report any findings back to the fire marshals office. I have been doing that the last two years plus.
