Through evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of organizations’ risk management systems in a way that’s valuable to management and third party stakeholders, we help organizations demonstrate what makes them attractive business partners to help them drive growth. I specialize in controls evaluation and attestation for financial services organizations and also have developed an extensive practice serving software and technology firms that process transactions for others. I am an instructor for several technically focused educational programs for community bankers and have been featured in Accounting Technology magazine for my work in systems assurance, advisory and consulting and internal control expertise and was also interviewed by Compliance Week for an article on the effect of Sarbanes-Oxley on Service Auditor Reports (“SAS 70”). Current practice areas include systems assurance, advisory and consulting services including attestation engagements (SOC examinations and agreed-upon procedures), information technology and controls reviews for banks and insurance companies, and application and general computer controls evaluations for private and public companies.
