I am a government investigator who is passionate about the public sector. I have an interest in integrity, regulation and ensuring we have an accountable and fair government. I have strong interpersonal and communicative skills, having studied languages (Japanese and Korean) and linguistics, as well as living and working overseas. While there, I developed an interest in the law and came back to complete a Juris Doctor, volunteering at a number of community legal centres along the way. Since joining the Ombudsman, I have worked with the public and government organisations to investigate and resolve matters informally, while also conducting more complex, formal investigations. I am people focussed and enjoy working collaboratively to create a better government.
