Thomas LeVasseur

Thomas LeVasseur serves as the Director of Compliance and brings both credit union and community bank experience to IBT. A graduate of Temple University, Tom began his career in retail banking at a credit union outside of Philadelphia, PA. He then accepted a positon as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, where he participated in safety and soundness examinations of community banking organizations in the Federal Reserve’s Third District Thomas LeVasseur oversees internal compliance of IBT, ensuring IBT remains compliant with regulatory guidance. Thomas will coordinate independent audit and monitor compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act for the safeguarding and privacy of non-public personal information. Thomas LeVasseur also monitors changes in guidance and regulatory developments to ensure IBT remains up to date with the most current guidelines.
