I am the head of the 'Geospatial Visualization, Semantic Modelling, and Aquisition' (GeoSMAQ) group at the VRVis Research Center. Besides coordinating research and development in several projects, I am responsible for the development of PRo3D, an interactive 3D visualization tool for planetary scientists in the context of collaborations with ESA and NASA. Further, I also lead the development of TSID, a 3D viewer for tunnel surface inspection and documentation, in collaboration with dibit Messtechnik GmbH. I am also doing my PhD at the Technische Universität Wien combining the two worlds of Visual Analytics and Real-Time Rendering. In addition, I supervise bachelor and master students, who support my research efforts, and I am also experienced in writing grant applications.
