Thomas Rainger

Tom is a civil and environmental engineer with five years’ experience in containment facility design, design reviews and construction quality. He has also been involved in environmental monitoring, risk assessments (human health, groundwater, landfill gas, etc.), and as an Auditor’s assistant. Tom has been involved in a variety of projects including both landfill cell design, pond designs and rehabilitation designs. His knowledge across both civil and environmental aspects results in practical designs that meet safety, stability, material performance and durability, chemical compatibilities, permeability and a variety other safety and environmental outcomes. He endeavours to deliver considered designs that optimise value for clients while meeting stringent requirements of regulators. Tom’s passion for sustainability has led him to pursue a detailed knowledge and understanding of phytocap designs from feasibility studies, soil moisture modelling, concept designs, detailed designs and through to construction inspections and audits.
