Thomas Wain

I am currently working at a potash mine in England, but I plan to move to Canada imminently. My wife and I have decided to relocate to western Canada permanently, as we are expecting our first child in December and want to raise our family there. I presently have a pending permanent residency application for Canada under the family class, and expect it to be approved between September and November, giving me full rights to work in the country indefinitely. My experience working as a mining electrician has been predominantly underground, but I have done surface and plant work as well. I also gained an understanding of Canadian electrical code in my six years at Quinsam Coal Corp. in Campbell River, BC. I have a total of nearly 15 years of experience as a mining electrician. I am hard-working, dedicated, and confident in my ability as an electrician. I work well in a team-setting, and I always enjoy a challenge.
