Thomas J. Walsh, CFA

The President and founder of Walsh Asset Management, LLC, Tom has over thirty years experience in various areas of the investment business, including positions in portfolio management, research, trading and marketing. Tom is a registered principal and investment advisor representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Miami University with a B.S, in business/ finance, and the Broad School of Management at Michigan State University, where he received an MBA in finance. Tom is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Cincinnati Society of Financial Analysts. As a Visiting Instructor of Finance at Miami University, Tom taught Principles of Investments and Securities Markets to seniors and graduate students on the Oxford campus from 2000-02. His emphasis on the practical applications of investment analysis consistently earned him high ratings from his students.
